THREE TASTING EXPERIENCES

Three ways to taste, kept personal.

Wine, tea and coffee each tell a different story. These small-group tasting experiences in Skopelos Town stay personal, conversational and grounded in the people and places behind the cup.

EVENT SPACE · 2027

A Skopelos gallery and event space for small, thoughtful gatherings.

ROOTS is a flexible gallery and event space in central Skopelos Town, inviting proposals for photography and painting exhibitions, hosted tastings, talks, readings, small workshops and creative pop-ups connected to place, craft or culture.

The first-season programme will stay selective. A proposal is the start of a conversation—not a confirmed booking. Workshops requiring specialist skills or equipment will only run with an experienced external host.

THE SHOP

Curated, not crowded.

The shelves will stay selective and the furniture movable, so ROOTS can change from an everyday Skopelos shop and coffee stop into a tasting, exhibition or quiet gathering.

Bottles selected for place, story and pleasure—not an endless wall of labels.

Natural care

A small edit of Greek-made soaps, oils, balms and thoughtful gifts.

Coffee

Simple coffee for a slow afternoon in town. No full café menu, no unnecessary fuss.

Local art

Changing photography, painting and ceramics, with room for the space to breathe.

OUR STORY

ROOTS grew from the way our family experiences Skopelos and Greece from two directions: through Greek roots and through the eyes of someone who arrived from elsewhere. One perspective carries the memories, rhythms and everyday knowledge of home; the other notices details that familiarity can sometimes make invisible.

Together, we want to share the tastes, makers, stories and character that make this place distinctive. ROOTS is designed to keep moving—shop, tasting table, exhibition, conversation and gathering. It is warm, honest, simple and diverse, just like our family: different backgrounds held together by curiosity, care and love.
